Known in Spanish as 'El Día de Los Muertos', this unofficial but widely observed holiday is celebrated on November 2nd each year, primarily in the Central and Southern regions of Mexico. It is a holiday that focuses on remembering family members and friends who have passed away.
A Showing of Artwork and Performances will be held to commemorate this day.

At Solel, we honor the roots of who we are. In fact, that’s one of our main pillars! The people who are truly rooted in the land we stand on are oftentimes ignored, mistreated, and cast aside. But Solel is going to host educational campaigns via our social media for everyone to tune in and learn from experts in the field on the history of the autochthonous people, and the state of life for them today in America.
We will also be hosting a Turkey drive to feed those in need so make sure you donate so that we can feed a family during the holiday season. Don’t forget, this is also a time that people in difficult situations look forward to because it means a meal. Let’s educate and feed our community!
